October 2025

Bham, ATL & More

In our September update we discussed the process for launching multiple Work Faith collaboratives. This process seeks to leverage existing Coworking systems as a strategic entry point for bringing the Gospel into the marketplace.

The 4-phase process is listed below. (as a reminder)
  • Phase 1 - Establish 3 collaboratives with NEXUS and THRIVE.
  • Phase 2 - Expand through the THRIVE, NEXUS and ROAM Co-Working networks.
  • Phase 3 - Install value added collaboratives in Co-Working systems such as WeWork, Industrious, Regus, Workbar, etc.
  • Phase 4 - Engage additional community blind spots beyond the Co-Working system.
Last week we continued Phase 1 of the strategy with a collaborative at Thrive in Birmingham AL.

Lunch Next Week?

On November 5th we are hosting a similar lunch at Nexus Co-Working in Roswell GA. TOPIC: Work & Faith: The real value of work. While this gathering will be slightly larger, the content will be very similar. The goal is to foster a zero-barrier connection to the gospel in the marketplace.
  • Lunch is free,
  • Space is limited.
  • No hooks, just space for honest questions
Lunch provided: vendor Clean Eatz
If you are in the Roswell area on Wednesday November 5th you are welcome to join. Please use this link to register as space is limited and filling fast!

Here is a preview of the space (taken from a previous event) located near Dreamland BBQ of Mansell Rd.

Pray And Rejoice

The long-term success of these events needs the local Church. New Vertical can foster these events, but perpetual momentum needs the local Church to be present.

A wonderful testimony to fostering a two-way bridge is Living Fellowship and Thrive Alpharetta. While New Vertical assisted and continues to serve in the Alpharetta collaborative, it is sustainable and independent of New Vertical.

Please pray for more churches/'chaplains to partner with these collaboratives so we can continue launching new groups through the Coworking system.

Additionally, please pray for the following:
  • For the Gospel to go forth through these co-working meetings.
  • Our monthly funding is at 30% of our need. We are very grateful for the one-time support that has equipped us to launch multiple groups. However, long-term sustainability requires a shift from onetime to a monthly giving base.
    • A monthly gift of $200 helps cover the expenses of a coworking collaborative. Fostering a zero barrier connection to the gospel.
    • A monthly gift of $50 helps provide study bibles to participants.
We are grateful to the PRCC (The multi-denominational chaplaincy arm of the PCA), our AMAZING Board of Directors, and the many friends who support us. We cannot do it without you.

Grateful

We know support comes in many forms. We cannot pioneer marketplace ministry without you. Thank you for your support. You are loved and we are grateful.
His Grace is enough.
