In our August update we discussed the shift from individuals to groups. While the mission and vision are the same, the process has changed.
This pivot leverages existing communities to proclaim the gospel in blind spots the Church struggles to reach nationwide. Currently, we are installing collaboratives in co-working spaces as a two-way bridge between the Church and the marketplace.
Last month we partnered with Living Fellowship Church and Thrive Co-Working in Alpharetta. In October and November, we will be launching two new collaboratives in Roswell GA and Birmingham AL.
The current strategy is: - Phase 1 - Establish 3 collaboratives with NEXUS and THRIVE.
- Phase 2 - Expand through the THRIVE, NEXUS and ROAM Co-Working networks.
- Phase 3 - Install value added collaboratives in Co-Working systems such as WeWork, Industrious, Regus, Workbar, etc.
- Phase 4 - Engage additional community blind spots beyond the Co-Working system.

The goal is to provide practical resources with a zero barrier engagement with the gospel and the local Church.
Many who read this update are in Birmingham but have not seen THRIVE's beautiful space on 1st avenue.
On October 29th, people, connections, ideas, food, hopes and hurts will travel the hallway pictured above. By faith this hallway will become a bridge to the gospel. | | Exploring Blind Spots A blackhole in the night sky will appear as a vast nothing. But in reality, its mass is so dense that even light cannot escape. This is the nature of blind spots. When things slip into their orbit, we might not even notice that they are gone. We simply don't know to look for them there.
Blind spots can be social, economic, life stage, etc. But awareness is not enough. Whatever forces created the blind spot will likely hold authority until an external force is introduced. If left alone, it will only grow. This is why missions and discipleship are two sides of the same coin. Because the Gospel is the only force greater than a blind spot. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1
Below is NEXUS's gathering space in Roswell. By faith we will launch a collaborative in late October or early November here.
 | | Pray Please This shift provides a tangible path to a national network for chaplains to engage the marketplace. It includes specific cities, businesses, and many other precise details. But embracing this path cost time and money. So please pray for the following: - For the Gospel to go forth through these co-working meetings.
- Monthly Funding - This new pathway is exciting. But the transition has cost us valuable time in our support raising model.
- A monthly gift of $200 helps cover the expenses of a coworking collaborative. Fostering a zero barrier connection to the gospel.
- A monthly gift of $50 helps provide study bibles to participants.
