Home for the Holidays?
Relocating to the Roswell Region is not easy. The following is a brief overview of the Target area and some of the challenges associated with finding a home.
The Roswell Region was voted #1 according to Forbes for relocation. - This means THOUSANDS are trying to move in weekly! Twice I hopped on the interstate preparing to view a newly listed home only to have the seller accept an offer before my arrival. (Yes, houses move that fast).
- This sheds more light on the Gospel need. Year after year, the population increase has substantially outpaced indigenous Churches. Regional population density is 3500 /sq. mile. This is substantially higher than: Atlanta at 2800, Georgia at 163 or the national average of 81.
- Some of the largest and most innovative companies on the planet call it home. The explosive population growth in this region has brought a multitude of global ideas and religions to the region.
- With Atlanta ranking 15th in Global Impact (GDP) The residents of Roswell are poised to significantly influence the future of global thought.
How in the world can we possibly compete?. - We have been searching for a home for several months now. The matrix of neighborhoods, geography and schools gives us a strategic approach to reaching the above demographic. However, the home prices are VERY HIGH and seemingly out of reach. It feels like we are reaching for the low string of a very high balloon.
PRAISE GOD! Through an incredibly generous donation a wonderful home has been brought into reach. This home is in the heart of the Target. We have an inspection this week and will by faith be relocating at the end of the month.
