We stand on the edge and we need your prayers! Below are 2 prayer request as we begin the process of Church Planting in the Roswell Region of North Atlanta.
- We need to relocate - Please pray for discernment. These first steps have significant and potentially long term consequences.
- We need to finalize our support. - Please pray about joining our monthly team, giving a year-end gift or recommending a friend to join our team. You can see our remaining needs here. Currently, 35K onetime and 1600 monthly left to go.
WHY? - Some people think Atlanta (specifically Roswell/Alpharetta) is just another wealthy southern city. But wealth apart from Christ is a cancer on the soul. Consider the recent exposure of Ashley Madison (adultery website service). Roswell/Alpharetta is the #1 Southern City for subscriptions to the service and among the top ten in the U.S.. One statistic puts 8.5% of the adult population (in this region) with a subsciption to this one adultery service provider. This is not an over churched environment. Furthermore, this region has great influence over the 6.1 million people of Metro Atlanta. Values are contagious and the need is big!
