Philippians 4:6-7 talks about a peace that transcends understanding. I read this for years. But until the pain comes, you can't taste the depth of this passage. It is only when everything seems to be imploding that that peace will truly be beyond understanding. This is the kindness of God demonstrated. The further things slip from our control, the bigger and broader God is revealed.
6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
