A Really Big 10 days
We are excited to start this update by announcing the Church name: Christ Fellowship! The process of naming this new Church was a labor of prayer and patience.
You can view our new website here gatheredbygrace.com. A lot of work is still left to do before we launch a public worship service. But we are getting closer. In an effort to get the word out, we had a "Pumpkin Pitt Party". This was a fun way to connect folks over BBQ, pumpkin painting and fellowship. In the end, there were 74 folks who came.
We are running on two rails. This photo (above) represents the first rail. The slow and steady process of preparing for public worship. The second rail is the gathering phase. We are asking God to shape us as a Gospel Centered Church so that Christ Fellowship will be more than a Sunday morning experience. In an effort to grow in this gathering phase we have relocated to a new space. Last Sunday we met at the George Center for Music Therapy (GCMT). We are being stretched in beautiful ways. The photo below is of our first day in the new space. We took time to sing, pray and celebrate this new time.

Here are a few items we need prayer for:
Continued growth (in depth and number) for our core group
- These saints are amazing, and sacrifice a great deal to join this work
- The ladies of the group to find time to build deeper relationships with each other
Pray for a new gathering space.
- We feel the draw toward public worship. A lot of work needs to be done and this new space will help us grow in the right direction.
Praise!
- We are experiencing some internal giving. For those who are supporting our endeavor you will recall that our budget is built on three year giving. By Faith our internal giving will increase and match our external giving. This is an amazing picture of the apostle Paul's words from Romans 10 "And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?"
- The three images above represent major milestones. God is to be praised!
