Heather and I are very excited to report that yesterday I was approved as a Church Planter in the Metro Atlanta Presbytery. The target area is Roswell. A fast growing part of the region with enormous needs and huge potential!
We will not relocate to Atlanta until we have 90% of our funds raised. Meeting this benchmark is very important because our work is a "scratch plant," meaning there is no existing core group. So from day 1 our efforts in the field will be focused on birthing a new community. How thrilling to see God make something new!
We expect to have our financial needs available at the beginning of next week. Several desserts are being organized in Montgomery to assist us in communicating the details and needs of the Plant. We will also organize desserts in Birmingham and other areas.
